AmiBroker portfolio backtester maintains the LIST of positions (not just one variable as TS/MC), as it can open multiple positions on multiple symbols and tracks all of them. The list of open positions is accessible from the formula level via GetFirstOpenPos/GetNextOpenPos as shown in the code above. This way you get the access to the Trade object that has IsLong/IsShort methods to detect whenever you are currently long or short on given position, you can query current position value, size (number of shares/contracts), you can scale positions up/down and do everything imaginable.

Дело в том, что по логике работы Ами такая функция не нужна. |

Shining with sheer ignorance is the epitome of impolite manner. So "poking a stick in the eye" (as you name it) is just a reaction on the same level.
Don't cry out loudly afterwards if you can't handle the outcome of your "walk on thin ice". Instead rather be glad that there is someone cleaning up the mist of BS after the heavy rain (== heavy whining).
In general it's pretty simple.. stop being ignorant if having not the slightest clue whatsoever. Rather start learning and gain knowledge instead. That's the number one solution to avoiding sticks in the eye. |
